Read the Following about receiving your new Complete.

Adjustments To Completes: Always check and tighten the nuts before you ride and especially when you receive a new board since the nuts may loosen during shipment. You need to make sure they are secure when you receive your complete. Even though all the hardware is self-locking and should stay snug, check it regularly anyway. Adjusting your trucks' king pin nuts will help your board turn to your liking, this is done by tightening (harder to turn, more stable) or loosening (easy to turn but unstable at high speeds) the nut till the board performs the way you like it.

Break in: You got to break it in, and that goes for all completes at first, trucks feel sticky, sometimes to one side more then the other or that the wheels don't set even, this is normal and wont last long depending on how much you ride. This break in is necessary due to the new urethane bushings in the trucks. The bushings will take time to break in, depending on the amount of use the trucks receive. Also, wheels should have a slight bit of "play" without being loose.

Safety and Maintenance Tips for the New Skateboard Owner

Mad Props! You have a new deck. Now here is how you can take care of it and YOU.

Skate And Ride Safely: Don't skate beyond your ability. The skateboarders pictured on the web and in the magazines you read are professionals, unfortunately they choose not to wear safety gear. Do not follow their bad example. Always wear protective gear and watch for traffic. Protective gear can be found at your local skate shop and we will soon carry some here. This is REAL.

Board Breakage: The main cause for cracks or breaks is improper foot placement when landing jumps. Watch the pro's and how they take a landing and your board will last a lot longer. We will not replace broken boards or ones with pressure cracks, so skate smart.

Water BAD: If you want your skateboard to last, stay out of the water! It can cause your deck to delaminate (that's come apart), it will rust your bearings, destroy your bushings, and possibly cause your deck graphic (oh no) to smear. Avoid wet conditions.
