Tips for the New Skateboard Owner Skate And Ride Safely: Don't skate beyond your ability. The skateboarders
pictured on the web and in the magazines you read are professionals,
unfortunately they choose not to wear safety gear. Do not follow their bad example. Always wear protective gear
and watch for traffic. Protective gear can be found at your local skate shop and
we will soon carry some here. This is REAL. Break in: You got to break it in, and that goes for all completes at first, trucks feel sticky, sometimes to one side more then the other or that the wheels don't set even, this is normal and wont last long depending on how much you ride. This break in is necessary due to the new urethane bushings in the trucks. The bushings will take time to break in, depending on the amount of use the trucks receive. Also, wheels should have a slight bit of "play" without being loose. |
